My Life in Books Tag

Hey everyone! I found this book tag over at One Book More and thought it looked so fun! Here is my attempt at the My Life in Books Tag!

Find A Book For Each Letter in Your Name

I LOVE this prompt!

M – Miracle Creek by Angie Kim

A – And I Darken by Kiersten White

D – Divergent by Veronica Roth

E – Everything I Never Told You by Celeste Ng

L – The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan

I – Inkheart by Cornelia Funke

N – Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo

Count Your Age Along Your Bookshelf – What Book Is It?

The 22nd book on my bookshelf is The Muse by Jessie Burton. I bought this book off of a sale table at a bookstore. It was only a couple dollars for the hardback with this beautiful cover!

Pick A Book Set in Your City/Country

The Downstairs Girl by Stacey Lee takes place in Atlanta, Georgia, which is 30 minutes away from my home.

Pick A Book That Represents A Destination That You Would Love To Travel To

This was actually the most difficult prompt for me because I read a lot of fantasy (aka books with no real destinations to travel to). I ended up choosing Beach Read by Emily Henry for this post because I would love a simple trip to the beach right now. Or to anywhere considering the US isn’t anywhere near to beating COVID yet.

Pick A Book That Has Your Favorite Color In It

My favorite color is blue and The Kingdom of Back by Marie Lu has this beautiful blue cover!

Which Book Do You Have The Fondest Memory Of?

The Percy Jackson and the Olympians series will always hold the best memories for me since it was the series that got me into reading!

Which Book Did You Have The Most Difficulty Reading?

Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë is a popular classic, but for me it was a chore to get through. I was in high school when I read this though, so maybe I need to give it another try.

Which Book On Your TBR Will You Give You The Biggest Sense of Accomplishment When You Finish It?

I know I always mention this book when I talk about my TBR, but it has be The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson. Since this has been on my TBR forever and I never find the time to get to it, I will feel very accomplished once I finally do.

    1. WordPress markers your comment as spam so I am just now seeing it. I am so sorry! I actually loved And I Darken. It has a slower pace than a lot of YA, but felt darker and more mature.
