Hello! My name is Madeline and I am so excited to be joining the online book community. I am still figuring out how I would like to run this blog but I plan to post book reviews, TBRs, Monthly Wrap-Ups, and other fun book related content! My favorite genre is fantasy (YA and adult) but I also love to read mystery/thrillers, historical fiction, and adult contemporary fiction.
I am mainly looking forward to connecting with other book-lovers through this experience! My social media accounts are linked in the sidebar to the right. How I Rate/Review Books
All of my reviews are spoiler-free unless I indicate otherwise in the title or the beginning of the post!
The scale I use to rate books is 1-5 stars. This is easiest for me because I also like to post my reviews on Goodreads and that’s what they use. I will also use half stars if I feel like the book lands somewhere in between.
★★★★★ – This book is perfect for me. It is a favorite and I absolutely love it.
★★★★ – This book is great! I really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it.
★★★ – This book was good. I don’t regret reading it, but for some reason it just wasn’t great to me.
★★ – This did not work for me. Most likely, I did not connect with the characters or plot.
★ – I hated this, possibly DNFed. Would not recommend.
